Exacly! But for a "car game", I wish it had online auctions and more unique stuff to do with the maybe 500 not-so-great cars... And proper damage modelling :( (Now it really gets weird to see my Formula Gran Turismo crashing straight into a wall at over 300km/h and drive away with a couple of scratches...)

Well, I don't know what everyone thinks about Black Ops, but THAT should definitely at least be a nominee! And for me, it's the best story of the year in games (gladly I never played it, though :D I just watched most of the campaign on youtube and even though I wasn't impressed by the gameplay, I found the story to be very cool)

It's the insurmountable lack of content. That's why GoWIII can't win GOTY and it should definitely be wrong if it did.
After I had Platinum'd it, there was nothing left for me to do! And it only took a few days to accomplish that, unfortunately.
Haven't played Peace Walker, but knowing it's a Metal Gear game I assume it could be better.

The sound effects are amazing and the 3-D is perfect for the setting!! The seats are are literally trembling from the bass frequencies when the bigger ships are in close vicinity. It's awesome!
It's not all meh! The feeling the film induces is unique and THAT is rare as hell! And it's almost exclusive for gamers, too, as it's us that understand the nature of A.I. The brutality, the cold calculative behavior. Other people might see the likes of Clu as just equal characters.

I have. Crysis' environments do not have the same level of detail than those of KZ2/3.
And on any lower than the absolute Ultra-highest specs, Crysis' isn't that pretty in WHICH CASE, if there is a supercomputer than can run AVATAR (the movie's assets) in real-time... Well, then Avatar would be the best looking game (making it a game is easy: just make it so that all you do is move around as 'something' and voila!)
It still doesn't have ray tracing though...
And come ON!! It's not only about the tech!! It's also the detail at which Killzone 3 excels
